Nearby, wider-area, and precise
Bluetooth finding with one guiding arrow, GPS finding when you are farther apart, and Wi-Fi distance and ultra-wideband precision on phones that support them. Nearby finding works with no internet at all.
Release status
Partner Finder is in testing with a small group today and is coming soon to Google Play. There is no public download yet.
Working today
These are the features in the app right now, not plans.
Bluetooth finding with one guiding arrow, GPS finding when you are farther apart, and Wi-Fi distance and ultra-wideband precision on phones that support them. Nearby finding works with no internet at all.
Group Find for one to three people you select, short messages during a Find, and the arrow on your wrist with the free Wear OS watch app.
You choose who may find you and can switch it off or block anyone. Ages 13–17 set up with a parent or legal guardian, who approves who the teen may share with.
How it reaches you
A small group uses Partner Finder on their own phones, installed through Google Play, and tells us what works and what doesn’t.
Partner Finder opens to more people on Google Play next. Register your interest to be considered for an early place.
An iPhone edition and long-range companion hardware remain planned work—not announced products.
Why testing comes first
Features arrive on real phones before they open to everyone, because the things that matter here—radios, purchases and phone settings—can only be proven on real phones. Being in testing does not promise a date for the next step, and prices on this site become purchasable when Partner Finder opens on Google Play.
You can register interest now, but the form does not enroll you or install anything. If a place opens, you will get an invitation and join through Google Play.
